New in Zyte: Scroll Control, Lower Costs, and More

Whether you’re streamlining your workflows, enhancing automation, or reducing costs, the latest updates from Zyte API give your team more control with less complexity.

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

New Parameters for Precision and Flexibility

Zyte API continues to expand its headless browser functionality with new parameters that give developers greater control:

  • scrollStep for scrollBottom

Fine-tune how far each scroll action goes—perfect for gradual page loading or emulating realistic user behavior. Read the docs

  • selector for scrollTo

Now you can target and scroll directly to a specific element like a button or form field. This is especially useful when layouts shift but CSS selectors stay stable. Read the docs

  • followRedirect toggle

Gain more control over browser-less requests by deciding whether or not to follow redirects. Read the docs

  • ipType

Explicitly choose the type of proxy you want—data center or residential—giving you more transparency and control over your request origin. Read the docs

New Features That Save Time and Money

Over the past few months, Zyte API has rolled out several enhancements that improve both performance and usability:

  • New semicolon ; delimiter support in Scrapy Cloud exports, making it easier to match specific data formatting needs.

  • Expanded Stats API

Track every key metric from response times to costs and feature usage, helping you optimize performance. Read the docs

  • Reduced costs for R (Turkey) and KR (South Korea)

These locations have been moved into the Standard tier—great news for teams relying on geolocated scraping in these regions. Read the docs

Streamlined UI for Better Workflows

Managing your Zyte API usage just got easier:

  • A unified Subscription and Organization interface

  • A consolidated Account Settings page

  • Enhanced Scrapy Cloud Alerts integration

  • Unified Stats dashboard combining usage and request data

These usability improvements make it faster and easier to manage your scraping projects at scale.
